There are several places where you can stay, and several cabins from very basic to real luxurious can be rented. At Kvennan Camping you can camp with a caravan, mobile home or tent. All the places are English spoken. The map gives you an idea where to find the accommodations.
Kvennan camping
Since the old days Kvennan Camping has been a very popular place, especially among Swedish fishermen. The campsite was established in 1966, and the former owners (Hâvard, Kirsti and Karen) bought the place in 1986. In the past years there has been done a lot of work to improve the campsite, and a few high standard cabins were build. Today the camp site is run by Tor Henrik.
The name Kvennan means "mill creek", and it comes from the small stream that runs through the campsite.
Kvennan Camping is an excellent meeting place for fly-fishers from all over Europe, and in the summer evenings there will be small fires all over the place where the daily fishing results are being discussed.
There are in total 20 cabins for rent, ranging from small two-bed cabins to a big 6 persons cabin. For the guests who prefer to camp there are about 40 places, ca. 15 places are only a few meters from the river.

Estuary - Fly Fishing Lodge
Previously an old smithy with earthen floors is now a modern fishing lodge with rustic style. Located in an idyllic location with all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay.

Telstad grayling lodge
Less than 100 meters from Glomma river this recently rebuilt luxury cabin is situated near the edge of the forest. Equipped with all the necessary supplies like floor heating, dishwasher, washing-machine and dryer, fireplace and satellite TV, this 150 years old house will be a comfortable holiday residence for your family or fishing friends.
In the main house there are 5 sleeping rooms with a total of 15 beds.
In addition there is a rebuilt barn that sleeps max 10 persons.

Aakerøien Camping
Aakerøien Camping is a new established small campsite, located in the lower part of the Fly-fishing zone. The owner, Stein, is a keen fisherman himself, and has been fishing this stretch of river Glomma since he was a small boy. He can recommend you good places to fish. The cabins have four beds and a television.
There are 6 cabins, the price is 400 nok / night or 2400 nok / week.

Aashaugen Cabin
This cabin is a traditional Norwegian "stabbur" . In the old days it was used at farms to store food. Aashaugen cabin is transformed into a nice place to dwell, with 2 bedrooms (in total 4 beds) at the first floor, a living room with kitchen corner at the second floor and a separate bathroom with sauna (built in 2006). Breakfast can be served. Distance to River Glomma is about 1,5 km. Your host can guide you in fishing and hunting in the area.

The red cabin
Just upstream of Eidsfossen waterfall, on the east bank of river Glomma, you will find this nice little Red House.
A high standard cabin with three sleeping rooms, full kitchen with all the facilities you'll need, bath room with floor heating, a living room with TV.
Arrival after 16:00 hours , departure at 10:00 or on appointment.
The house has to be empty and clean when you leave.

Snekkargarden gjesthus
Snekkargarden guest house is centrally located in Tolga in charming Gata, which is the oldest street here from which the architecture bears the stamp and with the river Glomma as its nearest neighbour. It is a quiet and peaceful environment.
The house consists of five bedrooms, two rooms with wc - one with shower, fully equipped kitchen, living room with a fireplace, veranda and lovely outdoor area with fire pit and of course internet.
The bedrooms are partly large with fully made beds with towels and plenty of space for two beds. In total, space for nine/ten people, depending on whether you can share a room.
On the 2nd Saturday in September each year, Local Food Day Tolga is organized in Gata where the inner courtyards, including Snekkargarden, are filled with stalls with local food of many kinds, with lots of visitors flocking to it.
Prices
The price is NOK 600 per person per night with self-catering, but for longer stays and larger groups it can be reduced.
